Secondary teachers are so well trained in the UK and are given lots of advice, resources and support. Thankfully, teacher training is becoming more of a priority in Eastern Africa with teachers expected to pass certain exams and undertake training. With a wealth of experience, resources and enthusiasm you could make a real difference in the lives of teachers that you partner with, doubling your skills and learning with another teacher. The teachers we have met are hungry to learn and so we want to partner with them as we learn about life in another country and join in with raising standards in teaching and learning across the globe.
There are several different secondary schools we partner with who have students of secondary age. They are in need of some good teaching, coaching and discussion to ensure they reach their potential.
Your passion for helping others achieve their best will make a lasting difference in the lives of the teachers and students you work with, and we are certain they will make a lasting impression on you too! We aim to team you up with someone who has a similar field of interest, whether that’s literacy, art or school leadership.
